1.      Physical Map with the scale included

2.      A satellite map of the city or country in relation to countries around it. Label the places on that map.

3.      a satellite map close up that identifies a Phyical feature.

4.      A satellite map very close up that gives an idea of what the place looks like.

4 Pages of Statistical informaton

1.      Size: Square miles and compare it to a known place in the US.

2.      Population and an age pyramid that show distribution of the population.

3.      The population density with a density comparison (US = 75/ sq. mile)

4.      An interesting statistic, for example # of worshipers each year to shrine.

6 Pages of Cultural Information

1.      What do the people eat (a photo)?

2.      An example of the music the listen to (bands, instruments, etc.)

3.      An example of ancient art or architecture of the place

4.      An example of the contemporary art or architecture of the place.

5.      A choice of traditional costume, or modern dress.

6.      A choice of some other cultural artifact, dance, language, etc. 

4 Pages of Historical Information

1.      An ancient historical event properly illustrated

2.      History of the recent rule or governments

3.      Recent wars or difficulties with other countries.

4.      Their neighbors and relationship with their neighbors.

4 Pages of Political and Economic Information

1.      What are the chief exports of this place (pictures)?

2.      How are most of the people employed (what occupations?)?

3.      The flag, symbol or national identification.

4.      A chart showing their GNP or some important economic information.

6 Pages of Beautiful Photos of the People and of the land.

Remember: To save. It is not like your home computer.

1.      Select “Save As” in File menu.

2.      In the Pop-Up blank labeled “Name” Type D:

3.      Create your own folder naming it with your last name.

4.      When inside your personal folder Name the file

5.      Save with ME, last name and Period number- no spaces (ex.: MELynchP2)
