Please complete all parts.
Part 1
1. Coose a topic on some aspect of East Asian Culture (I have a list of 140 topics, if they still need one.)
2. Do some research on the subject and create and outline that organized the topic into categories and subcategories. (Something we learned to do at the beginning of the year.) - 10 points
3. Take those categories and turn it into an logical list about the subject. I said that the list should have at least 12 items and up to 30 items. I asked them to look at their list as a story: beginning- middle and end. - 10 points
4. Create a storyboard to prepare to create a little movie. So far, the computer has not been a necessary component of this project. - 10 points
5. Write the script for your movie. You will read it for the audio commentary in your movie. -10 points
Part 2
1. Based on your storyboard, collect all of the photos that you will need to create your movie. See ways to find the photos
2. Using movie making software (iMovie preferred), set up your photos in the correct order.
3. Add titles and credits.
4. Add simple tranistion. Avoid special effects.
5. Reherse and time your commentary for slide timing. (Alow a little time for quiet viewing.)
6. Set your timing on your movie.
7. Record your narration.
Part 3
1. Finish putting your movie together.
2. Find two students to watch your movie and fill out evaluation forms.
3. Review evalution and make appropriate changes.
4. Export your movie.
5. Present movie to the class
Extra Credit: If your movie is submitted and accepted to the website www.nextvista.org, you get an automatic A with 10 bonus points.
